Job Description

• Location: Schriever SFB
• Duration: long term, ongoing contract – we are a direct sub to the C2BMC program
• Clearance: TS/SCI
• Program: C2BMC

Position Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be part of a team that performs daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC-G systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment, enabling Space Domain Awareness and Space Defense. The candidate will provide first-level technical support to the customer and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC-G hardware, software, and networks. The candidate will document and report all events/issues to leadership. The candidate will receive tasking and direction from the leadership for all operations, test & real-world events. The candidate will also assist in maintenance of user accounts as directed by the local ISSO. Operates and sustains the C2BMC-G mission systems and/or training systems environment for operational and training missions supported by C2BMC's presence in the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC).• Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Basic Qualifications • Sound background and experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.• Experience in system and/or network administration that includes the following (UNIX, Linux, and Windows).• Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components.• Experienced in data flow usage and ability to troubleshoot with internal and external agencies to establish network connectivity.• Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP). Candidate will be responsible for maintaining DoD 8140 certification for the full contract period.• Minimum Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience and knowledge of C2BMC System or Missile Defense Systems• Linux Certification (Linux Essentials, Linux+, LPIC-1, RHCSA)• Experience using Confluence and Jira• Basic scripting (Bash)• Active Directory experience
Education Required Generally has 1+ years of related experience and may have a postsecondary degree or training in a related discipline.
