• Duration: long term, ongoing contract – we are a direct sub to the C2BMC program
• Clearance: Secret, Will hold Top Secret if you already have it
• Program – C2BMC
"Position Responsibilities: In this role, the candidate will serve as a Network Development Engineer, supporting build-out and deployments to the operational environment as necessary. The candidate will work within an agile scrum team and plan work based on customer requirements and program contractual agreements. Candidate will be a primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program. Candidate will be responsible for learning the planning, deploying, integrating, and testing upgrades to the C2BMC network to operational sites and help where needed. Candidate will be responsible for traveling to remote locations to perform network installations, perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel. Candidate must be willing and able to assist with real-world events, including nights and weekends. Candidate will need to have and maintain a valid US passport.
Basic Qualifications Generally has 0+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline. Must have an 8140 Compliant Certification such as: Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.Must have an active Secret Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen and have/maintain a valid US passport. Must be able to travel to alternate work locations to execute job duties such as deployments.Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated engineers as well as independently at times on large field projects.Knowledge of network design, development, and testing methodologies. Must have an understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF. Knowledge of network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Familiar with firewalls in Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
