Capture Manager
100% Remote
We are seeking an experienced Capture Manager to lead federal capture efforts from opportunity identification through submission. The ideal candidate has a strong DoD network, experience with competitive procurements, and a proven record of winning large federal contracts.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or related field
7+ years of federal contracting experience, including 4+ years in capture management
Proven success leading and winning $25M+ captures
Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and RFPs
Experience supporting DoD customers such as Army, Navy, USMC, or Air Force
Strong relationships with senior government and industry stakeholders
Responsibilities
Lead capture strategy from opportunity identification through proposal submission
Develop win strategies, competitive analysis, price-to-win strategies, and solution approaches
Engage with DoD stakeholders and support customer relationship development
Work closely with Business Development and Proposal teams to maintain strategy and stakeholder alignment
Support proposal development without owning the day-to-day proposal process or Color Team reviews
Coordinate internal teams and partners throughout the capture lifecycle
Provide leadership briefings, opportunity assessments, and capture recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
Digital engineering, systems engineering, model-based engineering, analytics, or advanced technology experience
Established DoD network aligned with the organization's target markets
Shipley or equivalent capture management training
Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
Strong presentation, communication, analytical, and leadership skills
