Job Description
Help Build an Emerging Air Force Signature Management Capability
Turas Technologies is seeking an experienced SIGINT, Electronic Warfare, RF Systems, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), or Signature Management professional to support Air Force Signature Management (SIGMAN), EMSO, and Test & Evaluation activities at Eglin AFB. This role directly supports Air Force efforts to understand, characterize, assess, and improve system signatures across the electromagnetic spectrum while helping inform operational effectiveness and mission survivability.
Working alongside government and contractor teammates, the selected professional will contribute to an emerging mission area that combines technical analysis, operational relevance, hands-on RF work, and real-world mission impact.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
■ Direct Mission Impact: Help characterize signals, understand system behavior, and support decisions affecting advanced Air Force capabilities.
■ Air Force Signature Management Mission: Support efforts to evaluate how military systems are observed, detected, characterized, and understood across the electromagnetic spectrum.
■ Hands-On Technical Challenge: Operate prototype hardware, analyze RF signals and waveforms, assess signature characteristics, and solve practical technical problems in operationally relevant environments.
■ Small Team, Significant Influence: Work directly with engineers, analysts, operators, and test professionals while helping shape recommendations that influence future mission capabilities.
Ideal Background
We are interested in speaking with professionals experienced and military trained in one or more of the following areas:
Signature Management (SIGMAN), SIGINT, Electronic Warfare (EW), EMSO, RF Systems, RF Spectrum Analysis, ISR, Test & Evaluation, Mission Assessment, Air Force or Joint Operations
Active, current, transferable Top Secret clearance is required. Candidates should bring substantial experience supporting military SIGINT, RF, EMSO, EW, ISR, spectrum operations, or closely related technical missions.
Role Snapshot
• Support Air Force prototype test programs involving RF systems, SIGINT, electromagnetic spectrum operations, signature management, and system performance evaluation.
• Analyze RF signals and waveforms, including modulation schemes, emitter identification, signal behavior, and collection performance.
• Assess electromagnetic emissions, system observables, detectability considerations, and signature management performance in representative environments.
• Develop clear technical documentation, test plans, analysis reports, executive-level summaries, and briefings for government and contractor stakeholders.
Location, Compensation, and Next Step:
Location: Eglin AFB, Florida Travel: Occasional travel to support test and training
Compensation: $102,000 to $139,000, depending on qualifications, experience, clearance, and role fit.
Interested candidates: Contact Turas Technologies directly to discuss the mission, the team, and the full position description.
