The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced SharePoint Web Developer, SME to support logistics , mission support, and knowledge management operations across the Indo-Pacific. The SharePoint Web Developer, SME serves as CACI's senior software development expert responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and sustaining secure SharePoint- based collaboration and web solutions that enable enterprise knowledge management, operational planning, document management, workflow automation, and information sharing across geographically dispersed organizations. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, this position ensures enterprise collaboration platforms are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with Government mission requirements supporting logistics , facilities, training, and emergent operations.
The SharePoint Web Developer, SME works closely with Government stakeholders, Knowledge Management personnel, software developers, cybersecurity teams, systems administrators, database administrators, and mission partners to develop modern SharePoint solutions, automate business processes, integrate enterprise systems, and enhance operational collaboration. This position supports mission execution by delivering secure, user-focused collaboration capabilities that improve information sharing, operational awareness, and organizational efficiency across classified and unclassified environments.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain enterprise SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server environments supporting Government operations.
- Develop custom SharePoint applications, web parts, workflows, dashboards, and collaboration portals using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), .NET, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Design and implement modern SharePoint sites supporting knowledge management, document management, and operational collaboration.
- Develop automated workflows utilizing Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline business processes.
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Graph API, SQL databases, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop secure role-based access controls, permissions, and information-sharing solutions supporting classified environments.
- Configure and maintain document libraries, metadata, search capabilities, records management, and content lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot software defects, system performance issues, and application integration challenges.
- Support software testing, quality assurance, code reviews, version control, and configuration management activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, software design documents, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, RMF controls, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and organizational security policies.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to remediate vulnerabilities and maintain secure software baselines.
- Support system upgrades, migrations, patches, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers and technical staff.
- Promote software development best practices, innovation, and continuous process improvement to enhance mission effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum 15 years of experience developing, configuring, and supporting enterprise SharePoint solutions, web applications, or Microsoft collaboration platforms for Government or Department of Defense programs.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.
- Experience developing SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server solutions utilizing SharePoint Framework (SPFx), .NET, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, REST APIs, and Microsoft Graph.
- Demonstrated experience integrating SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services, Power Platform, Microsoft Teams, Azure Active Directory, SQL databases, and enterprise business applications.
- Demonstrated ability to brief senior Government and program leadership on technical architectures , software solutions, system performance, and modernization initiatives.
Desired
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience supporting enterprise knowledge management, document management, workflow automation, and collaboration solutions within Department of Defense environments.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio , Visual Studio Code, SQL Server, Microsoft 365 GCC High, and Azure cloud technologies.
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer, or equivalent Microsoft software development certifications are preferred.
- Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification is preferred.
- Experience supporting classified TS/SCI collaboration environments and implementing RMF-compliant software solutions is highly desirable.
