The Garrett Group is seeking a highly qualified JFMCC Exercise Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support strategic maritime operational planning and execution. This senior role provides authoritative expertise across weapons systems operations and Joint Force maritime mission execution, supporting exercises and operational planning at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a recognized expert on weapons systems operations, including:
- Mission planning
- Generation and deployment procedures
- Weapons system employment tactics
- Development and publication of daily operations orders
- Provide deep operational insight spanning National‑level decision processes through Unit‑level execution.
- Support Joint doctrine development, exercise planning, operational coordination, and maritime component command processes.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective integration of maritime capabilities into Joint operations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 9 years of experience with Joint doctrine, planning processes, and end‑to‑end operational workflows from strategic decision making to tactical execution.
- Demonstrated ability to speak authoritatively on all aspects of weapons systems operations and operational employment.
- Prior professional experience working at or coordinating with USSTRATCOM JFMCC is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise operational documentation and daily orders.
