Job Description
AMO, an Akima company, is looking to add a Business Intelligence Analyst III with a Secret clearance to the team in Summerville, SC. This full-time position will support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) IPT as a Business Intelligence Analyst III responsible for analysis of data and processes to provide business intelligence information to IPT management. Responsibilities
- Execute development of Command Information Technology for You (CITY) (ServiceNow) requirements; design layouts for request item and incident tickets, workflows, and establishment of new request/ticket tasks.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for various software applications, including, but not limited to, CITY (ServiceNow), SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Integrated Software Services Framework (ISSF), Scalable Workflow Automation Tool (SWAT), Jira, and START.
- Develop user-facing content providing technical directions, processes, guides, troubleshooting steps, and informational detail in SharePoint related pages.
- Work with users to replicate and evaluate software bugs in applications; draft tickets documenting details of the bugs and results of reproduction steps.
- Draft standard operating procedures and documentation of various project related processes.
- Design dashboards that collect metrics in an automated fashion for various areas of the project including, but not limited to, inventory, deployed assets, software, services, financial, and accounts.
- Analyze existing processes and capabilities and inject automation recommendation and designs into development efforts.
- Support defining and implementing configuration management processes and tools to track and perform change management of configuration items.
- Coordinate with mutliple stakeholders to obtain requirement inputs to support process improvements and design of application tools.
- Create content provided in Service Center related documentation, describing services, roles and responsibilities associated with those services, costs, architectural diagrams, and other service-related information.
- Define project scopes, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with objectives, budget constraints, and resource availability.
- Translate ambiguous business requests into detailed functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and acceptance.
- Analyze and document "As-Is" vs. "To-Be" workflows to identify operational gaps and technical dependencies utilizing customer approved tools including, but not limited to, Check-In/Check-Out, asset issuance, and inventory control.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex initiatives, ensuring delivery remains on schedule and meets quality standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen with active Secret (or higher) clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of professional experience in systems engineering or Business Process analysis. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to work independently with senior level clients.
