We are seeking a highly motivated AOC WS Requirement Management is to support the HQ Air Combat Command F-35 System Management Office (SMO) Division (HQ ACC/A5F) USAF F-35A site activation and beddown coordinator. This individual reports directly to the Operations Branch Chief, ACC/A5FO at HQ ACC/A5F and is aligned under the ACC/A5 Requirements Directorate.

We are seeking a highly motivated AOC WS Requirement Management is to support the HQ Air Combat Command F-35 System Management Office (SMO) Division (HQ ACC/A5F) USAF F-35A site activation and beddown coordinator. This individual reports directly to the Operations Branch Chief, ACC/A5FO at HQ ACC/A5F and is aligned under the ACC/A5 Requirements Directorate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare requirement descriptions in support of operational requirements management. Review, edit, coordinate, and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to maintain current and accurate operational capability descriptions.
- Collect warfighter feedback on existing requirements and develop recommended changes to requirements based on that input, changing technologies, or emerging gaps in existing capability. In accordance with division leadership direction, manage all coordination and documentation of requirement language changes when government leadership approves a recommended change.
- Develop and maintain research materials, including presentations, relevant to managed requirements detailing the joint and air force doctrinal aspects of tactical and operational C2. Present these related aspects to government leaders semi- annually or based on significant changes to the research findings.
- Using existing documented operational requirements, and working with the relevant program office, develop and maintain requirements roadmaps depicting how operational requirements will be addressed during the modernization development efforts. This roadmap is separate from any development roadmap created by the SPO.
- Support SPO requirement decomposition activities and subsequent system development to ensure efforts accurately reflect the intent and objective of documented operational requirements. Advocate for the operational warfighter's need relevant to the documented requirements.
Requirements
- One of these two sets of experience:
- Three (3) years' experience within the past six (6) years supporting system testing of AOC Weapon Systems (WS)
- or
- Two (2) years' documented experience within the past (10) years working in an AOC Division or discipline (i.e., AOC Strategy Development, AOC Combat Planning, AOC ATO Production, AOC Air Mobility Management, AOC Joint Interface Control)
- Top Secret clearance, SCI
Schedule
- Core hours are from 0800-1700 M-F - you can work with your customer leadership to set hours
- You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments
- A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership (i.e. 4/10 or 9/80)
