Job Description
The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) serves as a senior member of the UAS IMS Program Management Office, providing direct support to the Senior Program Manager across both Task Orders of the UAS IMS contract at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The DPM assists in the day-to-day management and oversight of contract performance, customer engagement, financial management, staffing coordination, and quality assurance activities, while developing the knowledge, relationships, and operational understanding necessary to assume increasing levels of programmatic responsibility over time.
This position requires a self-directed, mission-focused professional with a strong foundation in government contracting, logistics, program administration, and customer-facing program management. The DPM must be capable of representing the program to Government stakeholders, managing complex and concurrent lines of effort, and operating with the judgment and professionalism that the UAS IMS program's high-visibility customer environment demands. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to mission excellence, a collaborative leadership approach, and the institutional curiosity necessary to build deep program fluency across both task orders.

Responsibilities
Program Management Support
- Assist the Senior Program Manager in the oversight and execution of both Task Order 3 and Task Order 4, ensuring performance remains aligned with PWS requirements, Government expectations, and Pinnacle's operational standards.
- Support the preparation, review, and timely submission of all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables across both task orders, maintaining 100% on-time compliance.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of program management plans, risk registers, staffing trackers, and other internal management tools that support effective program execution.
- Participate in program management reviews, executive briefings, and internal leadership meetings, providing substantive support and subject matter input across functional areas.
- Monitor program performance metrics across maintenance, logistics, quality, safety, training, and financial execution, identifying trends and escalating concerns to the Senior PM as appropriate.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Government stakeholders - including Contracting Officer's Representatives, the Contracting Officer, and program-level Government leadership - in the absence of or at the direction of the Senior Program Manager.
- Attend and participate in monthly synchronization meetings, program management reviews, and other scheduled Government engagements, representing Pinnacle with professionalism and program fluency.
- Support the development of executive briefings, capability presentations, and other customer-facing products that reflect the program's performance, accomplishments, and strategic direction.
- Maintain positive, transparent, and responsive communication with all Government stakeholders, reinforcing the trust and collaborative relationship that defines this program's customer engagement standard.
Financial Management Support
- Support the Senior PM in monitoring contract funding utilization across all CLINs for both task orders, flagging variances and supporting course-of-action development as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of de-obligation analyses, funding projections, and cost reporting products in response to Government requests and internal financial management requirements.
- Support invoice review, WAWF submission coordination, and resolution of billing or accounting issues in coordination with the Pinnacle accounting and contracts team.
- Maintain awareness of ODC CLIN utilization and procurement activity across both task orders, supporting disciplined cost stewardship consistent with the program's established financial management standards.
Staffing & Workforce Coordination
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and personnel action coordination across both task orders in close collaboration with the Senior PM, task order managers, and Human Resources.
- Assist in the tracking and management of staffing levels, hold positions, contingent requisitions, and workforce planning activities aligned to current and anticipated program requirements.
- Support personnel action documentation, corrective action coordination, and HR interface as directed by the Senior PM.
- Contribute to succession planning and workforce development initiatives that strengthen program continuity and build institutional knowledge across the PMO.
Quality, Compliance & Reporting
- Support the program's quality assurance framework, including review of internal QDI assessments, QASP responses, and audit preparation activities.
- Assist in the development and submission of Interim Performance Assessment Reports (IPARs), CPARS narratives, and other formal performance documentation.
- Support compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and administrative requirements across both task orders, including CDRL management, training compliance tracking, and security requirements.
- Assist in the identification and documentation of program risks, issues, and mitigation actions, maintaining awareness of the program's risk posture across all functional areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressive experience in program management, government contracting, logistics management, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or managing government contracts, including familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and contract administration requirements.
- Strong financial management skills, including experience with cost tracking, CLIN management, procurement, and government billing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with Government customers, senior military leaders, and executive stakeholders in a high-visibility contract environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing formal program management documents, executive briefings, and customer-facing reports.
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating teams in a complex, multi-functional operational environment.
- Active Secret security clearance (required prior to or upon hire).
- Ability to work on site at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
