The Opportunity:
CACI as a Prime Contractor on MWIII Bridge. All positions in the Hanover, MD area. MWIII Bridge develops and supports Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities for the enterprise and stand-alone deployment throughout the IC. Tasks include program management, mission support, software integration, software development, system engineering, migration, testing, documentation development, network and system monitoring, configuration control and release management.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our ICAM team. In this role, the candidate will help build, maintain, and improve the infrastructure, deployment processes, and tooling that enable our development teams to deliver reliable software efficiently.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, Elasticsearch, containerization, monitoring, and automation. You should be comfortable working collaboratively with system and software engineers and security teams while taking ownership of DevOps initiatives from implementation through production support.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
  • 10 years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required if COR determines that the position's activities include CWIP activities.


Kubernetes & Platform Engineering:
  • Experience with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Helm charts for application deployment and configuration.
  • Experience with GitOps tools and CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code and automation experience utilizing Ansible.
  • Understanding scalability and high-availability strategies with deployments across multiple service centers (e.g., availability zones).


Systems, Software, and Integration:
  • Experience with PKI and certificate-based authentication.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and service-based architecture.
  • Experience managing Elasticsearch clusters, Logstash pipelines, and Kibana dashboards, focusing on cluster performance and data ingestion.
  • Experience supporting systems using MongoDB.


Collaboration & Communication:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with software developers, test engineers, and system administrators.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience developing program review materials.
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
