Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Lead a DevOps and system administration team managing Linux, bare-metal, and AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes deployments, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure and workflows using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python while maintaining system observability with Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Direct system security compliance, server platforms, and database administration across complex environments.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 12+ years
• Total Compensation: $314k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Lead, mentor, and direct the daily tasks of a system administration team.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to provide guidance and oversight for overall system design, architecture, and setup.
• Maintain system platforms, production systems, and server health across EC2 and bare-metal environments.
• Oversee system maintenance, security posture, and SSP accreditations.
• Manage automation, monitoring, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery strategies across all environments.
• Maintain deployment automation processes and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab using Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Bash, and Python.
• Maintain base Linux kickstart images (RHEL9) and support database administration for tools such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Redis.
