• Position: Lead Project Engineer
• Location: 9975 Federal Drive
• Duration: long term, ongoing contract – we are a direct sub to the C2BMC program

"Position Responsibilities The Project Engineer will be responsible for working with the Task Order 60 (TO60) Leadership to manage, coordinate, and oversee the cross-Agile Release Train and Cross-Functional Product Team efforts associated with TO60 projects, TO60 contract proposals, and Mods. In this role, the selected candidate will support the planning and execution of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs. This individual will support the development of TO60 objectives, the collection of capability status and tracking, and cross-Functional Area coordination and resolution of schedule/resource issues. In addition, this individual will: Serve as the primary interface between the TO60 Solution Chief/Program Manager and Project Engineer Team. Implement standardized processes and products for managing projects. Support project engineers in their external and internal working groups. Support TO60 program meetings and develop status briefings, as needed. Serve as the primary interface between the project engineering team and customer counterparts. Support the Solution Chief in increment planning. Enforce rigor in Jira capability development and feature tracking
Basic Qualifications Career level typically with an advanced degree and 8+ years experience or bachelors with 10+ years experience or equivalent; wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions; works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives; failure to achieve results normally results in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources; frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.- Experience with project planning, cost, schedule & performance;- Previous experience with development programs and deployment execution activities. Generally has 8+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the following:- Planning, Scheduling, Project Management and EVMS- Systems Engineering, Software Development, and Deployment- Experienced in developing and managing project teams and schedules- Experience in Development Lifecycle and knowledge of spiral development processes
Other Experience Required- Proven leadership abilities to manage, coordinate, and oversee cross-functional area efforts associated with both the Sustainment and Development lifecycle management - Experience with project planning, cost, schedule & performance."
