VMware & NetApp – Sr Lead Consultant 5

We are hiring a Senior IT Consultant to lead enterprise scale infrastructure architecture, direct complex datacenter initiatives, and optimize multi domain environments. Candidates must have deep expertise in VMware, NetApp, networking technologies, OS platforms, and automation tools.

Core Technologies

• VMware: vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, NSX
• NetApp: Cluster, SAN, LUN, SnapCenter, SnapVault
• Networking: Firewalls, switches, wireless, cellular
• Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, MacOS
• Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, PowerCLI, API automation


Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering operations for multi domain, cross platform datacenters
• Provide day to day IT systems support, monitoring, and advanced troubleshooting
• Manage infrastructure configuration, performance, and lifecycle operations
• Perform Tier 1 & Tier 2 diagnostic support and escalation management
• Engineer updated HDI solutions to meet evolving security requirements
• Install, configure, and support VMware vCloud environments
• Design and implement enterprise storage architectures across NetApp clusters
• Configure and maintain Cisco UCS for virtualization workloads
• Deploy campus scale wired, wireless, and cellular network systems
• Implement MacOS virtual environments for development and testing
• Build GUI based deployment platforms for Linux/Windows provisioning
• Lead medium to large IT projects and major phases of enterprise programs
• Deliver technical guidance and solutions for complex IT challenges


Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (must already be held)
• IAT Level II (Security+ CE, GSEC, CySA+, CCNA Security, or GICSP)
• High School/GED + 20 years relevant experience
• Associate’s degree + 15 years
• Bachelor’s degree + 12 years

Required Experience & Technical Abilities

• Proven experience leading complex, large scale IT infrastructure projects
• Hands on expertise with VMware environments (vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, NSX)
• Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing NetApp storage solutions (SAN, LUN, clusters, SnapCenter, SnapVault)
• Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain enterprise network systems (firewalls, switches, wireless, cellular)
• Strong proficiency administering Linux, Windows, and MacOS environments
• Practical experience automating workflows using Bash, PowerShell, PowerCLI, and APIs
• Deep troubleshooting experience across multi domain datacenter environments
• Ability to provide specialized technical guidance for complex IT challenges
• Experience managing cross platform infrastructure operations at enterprise scale
