CNC Lathe Machine Operator

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machine Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team at King Tek. In this role, you will play a key part in operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines, contributing to efficient and high-quality production.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of CNC machining experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to specifications
- Measure and inspect parts using work instructions, drawings, and blueprints
- Manage multiple jobs and priorities efficiently
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain strict quality and safety standards
- Experience with GibbsCAM or Mastercam programming
- Familiarity with metals and alloys
- Background in quality inspection
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
- Experience with manual milling, lathes, or grinders
- Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
- Stand for extended periods
- Perform repetitive motions, as well as bending and maneuvering in tight spaces
