The Inventory Associate supports manufacturing operations by receiving, inspecting, stocking, tracking, and issuing spare parts and raw materials to the facility. This role is key to inventory accuracy, compliance, and the training of new team members in inventory control procedures. You'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations by coordinating with different teams, addressing inventory discrepancies, and providing excellent customer service in the Spare Parts room.

Available Shifts:

• Shift A: 7am to 7pm, SUN-TUE + every other WED
• Shift C: 7am to 7pm, THU-SAT + every other WED
• Shift B: 7pm to 7am, SUN-TUE + every other SAT
• Shift D: 7pm to 7am, WED-FRI + every other SAT

If a Holiday falls on your scheduled shift, you will be required to work the Holiday. Shift assignment discussed with recruiter if selected. Overtime as required.

What's a typical day as an Inventory Associate? You'll be:
  • Receiving, inspecting, and accurately processing spare parts and raw materials.
  • Stocking, tracking, and issuing spare parts and materials promptly to manufacturing departments.
  • Coordinating order fulfillment, returns, and inventory movements as needed.
  • Conducting and supporting inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Identifying and investigating inventory discrepancies, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Training new and existing employees in inventory control procedures, and identifying team training needs.
  • Assisting with root cause analysis for operational or inventory issues.
  • Creating shipping documentation, processing outbound transactions, and conducting shipment inspections.
  • Operating forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
  • Providing customer service for the Spare Parts room.
  • Counting, packaging, moving, transporting, and otherwise handling materials.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Bring prior Shipping/Receiving experience (2+ years preferred)
  • Have prior forklift operation experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to safety
  • Are able to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Have exposure to SAP, WorldShip software, or similar programs (a plus)
  • Are physically able to routinely lift up to 45 lbs and work overtime as required
  • Can comply with PPE: Requires hard hat, steel toes/composite shoes, and safety vest
