Documentation Control Specialist

Pay starts: $37/hr W2 (DOE)

Documentation Control Specialist

This is an administrative-focused role supporting technical documentation and quality processes; candidates with a technical, scientific, or life-sciences background are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Drafts and edits technical documents, schedules technical review meetings, and routes documents for approval through current knowledge management system.
- Ensures compliance of Platform new product development/Design Control deliverables with JJV quality systems and research policies and procedures.
- Tracks and reports status of Platform quality and regulatory compliance deliverables.
- Provides input for the continuous improvement of product development procedures and process.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Ensure all company rules/guidelines, including safety and GMP are followed.
- Other related duties, as necessary.
- Strong administrative skills with experience supporting technical documentation & quality processes; technical, scientific, or life-sciences background.
- Previous medical device and/or pharmaceutical experience. Experience in other industries requiring strict regulatory control will be considered.
- Mid-level computer skills required.
- Basic knowledge of electronic office equipment, i.e., scanner, copier required.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro required.
- Quality engineering and/or quality assurance/compliance experience preferred.
- Technical writing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with product development process preferred.
- Working knowledge of Project Management principles preferred.
- BS or BA degree preferred, high school diploma required.
