Machine Operator - Welder
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (Fridays required during busy season)
Location: Kindred, ND
Pay Rate: $20 per hour + (DOE)
Job Summary:
Kelly is seeking a skilled Machine Operator-Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, fabrication, assembly, and welding of structural metal products using a variety of machines and tools.
Essential Job Functions:

• Efficiently set up and operate Stamtec Press, Press Brake, and/or Floor Machine for routine established work
• Load, install, and correctly set up tools as required, including computer set-up
• Verify work pieces conform to specifications using precision measurement tools
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to handle materials and completed work
• Operate hand power tools and other equipment to complete projects
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and schematics to determine welding processes
• Operate manual and automated welding units and equipment
• Assist team members as needed and perform other assigned duties

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of machine operation and welding experience required
• Competent with basic dimensional measuring and math; able to learn precision tools quickly
• Computer knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Physical Demands:

• Continuous walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, reaching, and handling
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds
• Working near moving mechanical parts, noise, and exposure to outdoor elements
