Sr. Software Engineer

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.



2HB Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Software Engineer shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting a software suite of applications. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries. 



Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools


• Experience developing scripts using Bash 


• Recent Python (3.x) software development experience


• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB 


• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd


• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI 


• Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes


• Familiar with Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes


• Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ 


• Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible


• Experience using Git Source Control System


• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
