Job Description
Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph within 7 years to be considered.
Summary:
• Perform technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with Information Assurance standards.
• Define system security requirements and integrate security solutions into cloud and enterprise architectures.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability mitigation, and security compliance testing.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 15+ years
• Total Compensation: $290k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Validate and verify system security requirement definitions, analysis, and system security designs.
• Design, develop, implement, and integrate Information Assurance and security systems across networking, computing, and enclave environments.
• Support security authorization activities in compliance with DoD and NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
• Apply security engineering expertise in cryptography, Linux, AWS, Azure, requirements analysis, and system integration.
• Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the program lifecycle.
Skills/Experience:
• Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems
• Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and related security services
• Strong writing skills: able to clearly articulate ideas for executive level as well as technical staff consumption
• Strong communications skills: able to work well with others, independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of information security principles and risk assessment techniques
• Experience with using NESSUS and other scanning applications
• CISSP Certification
