Job Description
The AWS Junior Account Management Administrator supports the AWS Government Security organization by providing account administration, customer engagement support, operational coordination, and compliance-focused account management activities for government and national security customers. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, technical teams, security stakeholders, and AWS service delivery personnel to ensure timely execution of account-related activities while maintaining compliance with government security requirements.
The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and an understanding of cloud technologies, federal security requirements, and account management processes. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment supporting sensitive government customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Support AWS Government Security account teams in the administration and management of customer accounts.
• Coordinate customer onboarding, account provisioning, access requests, and account maintenance activities.
• Track customer issues, service requests, and operational actions to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain account records, documentation, and reporting artifacts in accordance with organizational requirements.
• Assist with customer communications, meeting coordination, status reporting, and follow-up actions.
• Support compliance activities related to government security, access management, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with security, engineering, operations, and program management teams to facilitate customer support activities.
• Monitor and update account management systems, ticketing platforms, and workflow tools.
• Assist in preparing executive briefings, customer reports, and operational performance metrics.
• Support internal reviews, audits, and security-related account validation activities.
• Maintain awareness of AWS services, government cloud environments, and applicable security policies and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 1-3 years of experience supporting account management, customer operations, program administration, help desk, cloud operations, or related business functions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, or ticketing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience supporting federal government, defense, intelligence, or national security customers.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud services and cloud computing concepts.
• Experience supporting security-compliant environments or regulated organizations.
