Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Network Administrator to sit at Fort Meade, MD! This candidate will support and maintain critical enterprise network infrastructure within a highly secure environment. The ideal individual will independently configure, troubleshoot, and secure network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements. This role will also contribute to large-scale network modernization efforts, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and provide architectural recommendations to improve overall network performance and reliability.
Must-Haves:
• Active TSSCI
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 4-8+ years of related experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
• IAT Level II (sec+ or equivalent)
• Experience configuring and supporting: Switches, Routers, Firewalls or Load Balancers
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and/or Dell network technologies
• 3+ years of Linux and/or Windows administration experience
• Experience implementing network security controls and device hardening
• Strong troubleshooting and network maintenance experience
• Experience with documentation, configuration management, and change management processes
Plusses:
• Experience integrating Network Management (NM) and Element Management (EM) systems
• Familiarity with network performance monitoring, trouble ticketing, and security subsystems
• Experience with ServiceNow, Remedy, BMC, ITSM, or similar ticketing platforms
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification
• Experience working within virtualized environments
• Network architecture and topology design experience
• Experience supporting enterprise or global network upgrade projects
Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this role so candidates pay may vary based on level of experience and expertise, depth of knowledge, and clearance level among other factors; but we anticipate paying 110K - 135K for this role as well as provide a comprehensive benefits and 401k packages.
