About the Role
As a Manufacturing Test Software Engineer, you will support production and manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing software applications used in testing and validating hardware products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and manufacturing engineers, to develop and improve test solutions that support efficient and reliable production processes.
This role requires hands-on support in a factory environment and collaboration with engineering teams to investigate and resolve integration and production-related issues.

Minimum Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance required at start date
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in test engineering, manufacturing support, or software development for production environments
- Experience with NI TestStand, C programming, and Win32 application development
- Experience working with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and other hardware validation tools
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing or production environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Embedded C development
- Experience integrating software with manufacturing test systems
- Knowledge of automated test systems and hardware/software integration
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience supporting factory production operations

Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing manufacturing and test software applications.
- Develop, modify, and support software systems used in production testing environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware integration, and production issues.
- Collaborate with hardware, manufacturing, and engineering teams to design and implement reliable test solutions.
- Support test equipment integration, including oscilloscopes and other measurement hardware.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to increase manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities related to production issues.
- Document software designs, processes, and technical solutions.
