The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, a deep understanding of security best practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect organizational data and systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor security events and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on security-related issues.
- Stay current with emerging security threats and trends, and recommend improvements to security controls.
- Support compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM.
- Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or HIPAA.
