Job Description
Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI to be considered.
Summary:
• Manage and deploy cloud and on-premise infrastructure using Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Automate deployment processes with Bash, Python, and Go.
• Administer Linux systems.
• Work with big data technologies including Hadoop, Accumulo, Spark, NiFi, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Hive, Trino, and PrestoDB.
• Apply DevOps and Agile methodologies, and contribute to continuous integration.
• Provide technical team leadership and engage in software development.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 3 years relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Total Compensation: $222k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Support development and deployment of non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure of on-premise and portable equipment.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues as necessary.
• Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, continuously exploring new ways to improve our infrastructure.
• Seamlessly transition between hands-on execution and team guidance, treating mentorship and team leadership as inherent components of senior-level impact.
