Hazmat Material Coordinator expedites flow of materials and products within or between hangars in accordance with production schedules or maintenance priorities.
Responsibilities
- Stocks hazmat lockers with required products.
- Inspect hazmat lockers for expired products.
- Pulls stock from hazmat storage buildings and transports to hangars and lockers for stocking.
- Collects and transports waste for turn-in.
- Drives hazmat box truck on the compound, flight line, and main post.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- Must possess a valid and current driver's license.
- Must possess or be able to pass a DOT physical.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Must have experience driving a box truck.
- Previous hazmat experience beneficial.
- Experience working in a military/govt contracting environment highly preferred.
