Job Description
Required Skills
1. BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
2. 5+ years of thermal engineering experience supporting aerospace, defense, spacecraft, or complex electro-mechanical systems.
3. Experience with thermal analysis tools including Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, ANSYS, or equivalent.
4. Understanding of radiative, conductive, and convective heat transfer principles.
5. Experience supporting thermal testing and correlation activities.
6. Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or similar platforms.
7. Strong technical writing and communication skills.
8. Active TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills
1. Spacecraft or satellite thermal design experience.
2. Experience supporting cryogenic systems.
3. Knowledge of thermal coatings, insulation systems, and aerospace materials.
4. Experience working directly with government customers.
