ASRC Federal System Solutions is seeking Electrical Drafter to support the FAA's Radar System Replacement (RSR) program, the largest and most significant radar modernization effort within the National Airspace System (NAS).
Work location: Remote, travel required
Clearance: Public Trust. US Citizenship to successfully complete a government investigation.

Key Role:
- Use AutoCAD to prepare drawing sets which include complex design features that require considerable drafting skills to visualize and portray.
- Use mathematical formulas to draw engineering project features.
- Prepare review, bid, and construction drawings per instructions from project managers and designers.
- Prepare asbuilt drawings per instructions from project managers, designers, and inspectors.
- Accomplish field surveying to position features of project work within the geospatial coordinate system used by the base.
- As required, participate in construction management activities.
- Ability to input and extract data, prepare briefings, transmit documents.
- Possess attention to detail and execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact with customers and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
- Other duties as assigned to meet mission and customer requirement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in recent versions of AutoCAD in preparing architectural, mechanical, electrical, and/or civil drawings required.
- Autodesk Certified User (ACU) for basic proficiency or the Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) for advanced skills, both recognized industry credentials that validate your AutoCAD knowledge or two (2) years of verified work-related experience.
- Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience or additional experience in lieu of a degree
- Possess excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
- Competent knowledge of computers
