The base salary range for this position is $177,900 to $223,550 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits.
JOB DESCRIPTION
MissionEdge Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our talented team supporting mission-critical government programs. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain complex software solutions that power high-impact systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to build new capabilities, enhance existing applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver scalable, high-quality software that meets demanding mission requirements.

Working Conditions:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.
Employees are required to notify management in advance of any plans to relocate out of state to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
Background Screening/Check/Investigation:
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to build new capabilities, enhance existing applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver scalable, high-quality software that meets demanding mission requirements.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
- Fourteen (14) years of Software Engineering (SWE) experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university. An additional four (4) years of relevant Software Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Strong experience with Java or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience using Confluence, JIRA , and GitLab in a collaborative software development environment.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in an Agile, team-oriented environment supporting mission-focused objectives.
Desired/Preferred Skills:
- NiFi experience
