Job Description
Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI to be considered.
Summary:
• Design, document, build, inspect, and test electronic assemblies and system components.
• Perform failure analysis and troubleshoot electrical system issues.
• Support system installation, integration, and testing.
• Prepare technical reports and present engineering data.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $197k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Design and document detailed electronic assemblies and system components, including wiring lists, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Develop custom cable designs and create comprehensive cable drawings using approved design tools.
• Produce facility layout drawings detailing equipment placement, electrical power needs, and HVAC requirements.
• Maintain internal material databases and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) records for asset tracking.
• Build, inspect, and test both prototype and deliverable electronic assemblies, cables, and wiring harnesses.
• Perform failure analysis and recommend design improvements that enhance reliability and system performance.
• Support mechanical assembly builds and incorporate mechanical constraints into electrical designs.
• Troubleshoot electrical system issues, anomalies, and integration challenges.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and project management teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, proposal, and CAM inputs.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and customers to support technical objectives.
• Present engineering data and system performance results to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Travel to customer or test sites to supervise and perform system installation, integration, and testing.
• Provide remote technical troubleshooting support as required.
