Required Skills & Experience
• 5-7+ years of experience in Finance, Project Controls, Business Operations, Program Finance, FP&A, or Business Management
• Strong financial management experience including forecasting, cost management, invoicing, cash flow tracking, and project financial oversight
• Experience supporting government contracting, aerospace, defense, engineering, infrastructure, or similar project-based environments
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (active clearance preferred but not required)
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated initiative and ownership mentality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with executive-level presence
• Experience working cross-functionally with operations, finance, customers, and leadership
• Self-starter capable of identifying inefficiencies and driving process improvements
Willingness to travel periodically to support customers and business initiatives

This highly visible role will support financial operations, forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, project financials, and strategic business initiatives for a rapidly expanding business unit. Working closely with executive leadership, this individual will help drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and support innovative solutions for government clients.

Day-to-Day:

• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, project financial performance, invoicing, and cash management

• Support proposal development, pricing efforts, and business growth initiatives
• Conduct investment and business case analyses for emerging technologies and initiatives
• Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and executives to drive strategic decisions
• Interface with customers and support business development activities
• Assist with subcontractor and vendor-related financial activities
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and process improvements
• Participate in strategy sessions, growth planning, and innovation-related initiatives
Serve as a key business partner to senior leadership, including direct visibility to executive leadership and the CEO
