Location: Charleston, SC (Onsite)
Company: Boeing (through Insight Global)
Pay Rate: $100-$110/hr
Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd Shift

Job Overview
Insight Global is seeking experienced MRB Engineering & Authority Leads to support Boeing in Charleston, SC. This role will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for driving Material Review Board (MRB) activities, signing complex non-conformance dispositions, and providing engineering oversight within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
This position is ideal for engineers who currently hold, or have previously held, MRB signature authority and have a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, materials engineering, structural analysis, and production support.
Responsibilities
-Review and approve complex non-conformance dispositions as an MRB authority.
-Lead MRB execution, prioritization, and disposition throughput efforts.
-Serve as the primary technical escalation point for engineering and production teams.
-Mentor and develop engineers progressing toward MRB authority.
-Partner with Boeing stakeholders to ensure high-quality engineering decisions and regulatory compliance.
-Drive resolution of manufacturing and product quality issues while balancing technical, schedule, and production requirements.
-Ensure compliance with Boeing engineering standards and approved disposition processes.
Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline).
-10+ years of engineering experience within aerospace, aviation, or complex manufacturing environments.
-Current or previous MRB signature authority experience.
-Strong understanding of non-conformance disposition processes and production-support engineering.
-Experience working directly with manufacturing operations and cross-functional engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
-Previous Boeing MRB experience.
-Expertise in one or more of the following:
-Materials Engineering
-Failure Analysis
-Composite Structures
-Fatigue & Fracture Mechanics
-Structural Repair & Disposition Development
-Experience leading engineering teams or serving as a technical authority.
-Strong communication skills and ability to interface with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing leadership.
