Overview

Tecolote's Corporate Headquarters has an opportunity if you are interested in furthering a career in Contract/Proposal Pricing. Tecolote is growing and this position will support the Corporate Headquarters Contracts Department in providing essential Pricing support for ongoing and new business.

Responsibilities

  • 7+ years' experience performing similar duties in a Government contracting environment
  • Knowledge and experience with pricing methodologies and complex pricing models for various contract types including firm fixed price, time and materials, and cost-plus, as well as working with a diverse range of customers, including the DoD/DoW, Federal Agencies and commercial
  • Experience in interfacing across functional areas (accounting, finance, HR) and with various levels of senior management
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and computer skills (especially MS Excel)
  • Experience in using Pivot Tables, VLookup
  • Excellent oral, written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with professional services or systems development proposals
  • Experience with the FAR and DFAR and understanding of the Federal government acquisition process
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally at all levels
  • Ability to work independently under a cooperative work-style/team spirit environment and ability to multi task as required
  • Must be a US Citizen

    Skills Required

    • Analyze proposal pricing opportunities / requests as they are identified by the various segments within our Operational Units
    • Work with and assist the Proposal Development Team in determining pricing strategies for each opportunity selected for bid
    • Develop cost / pricing models in MS EXCEL that are in-line with proposed strategies and in accordance with Government direction
    • Produce Cost and Pricing Volume in accordance with RFP requirement using Microsoft Excel and Word templates, supporting schedules and documentation for submission
    • Create and maintain electronic folders to warehouse all information and correspondence related to proposal development and submission
    • Participate in price negotiations as required
    • Support and Maintain established Corporate Pricing Policies and Procedures

      Salary Range: $70,000 - $105,000/Year, DOE

      Education

      Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences.
