Responsibilities
- 7+ years' experience performing similar duties in a Government contracting environment
- Knowledge and experience with pricing methodologies and complex pricing models for various contract types including firm fixed price, time and materials, and cost-plus, as well as working with a diverse range of customers, including the DoD/DoW, Federal Agencies and commercial
- Experience in interfacing across functional areas (accounting, finance, HR) and with various levels of senior management
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and computer skills (especially MS Excel)
- Experience in using Pivot Tables, VLookup
- Excellent oral, written communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with professional services or systems development proposals
- Experience with the FAR and DFAR and understanding of the Federal government acquisition process
- Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally at all levels
- Ability to work independently under a cooperative work-style/team spirit environment and ability to multi task as required
- Must be a US Citizen
Skills Required
- Analyze proposal pricing opportunities / requests as they are identified by the various segments within our Operational Units
- Work with and assist the Proposal Development Team in determining pricing strategies for each opportunity selected for bid
- Develop cost / pricing models in MS EXCEL that are in-line with proposed strategies and in accordance with Government direction
- Produce Cost and Pricing Volume in accordance with RFP requirement using Microsoft Excel and Word templates, supporting schedules and documentation for submission
- Create and maintain electronic folders to warehouse all information and correspondence related to proposal development and submission
- Participate in price negotiations as required
- Support and Maintain established Corporate Pricing Policies and Procedures
Salary Range: $70,000 - $105,000/Year, DOE
Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences.
