Job Title: Ordnance Logistics HAZMAT Inspector/Shipping Clerk
Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA

OVERVIEW
Trident Technologies and Consulting - Global, LLC (d.b.a. T2C-Global) is currently seeking motivated and talented individuals who can offer the knowledge, skills, and experience to support the United States Navy, Naval Special Warfare Logistics Support Unit TWO (LOGSU-2).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ordnance Logistics HAZMAT Inspector/ Shipping Clerk will assist the LOGSUPPU-2 Weapons Department in day-to-day Ordnance operations.
• Coordinates with supported commands and prepare required documentation to facilitate movement of munitions in support of NSWG-2 and its component commands.
• Provides detailed technical advice and assistance pertaining to the movement of munitions via all modes of transportation. Use technical publications to facilitate shipment priorities and be familiar with DD Form 2790 and DD Form 626.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Have in-depth knowledge and experience related to the duties of a shipping clerk garnered from at least a minimum of three (3) years’ Ordnance HAZMAT shipping experience within the past 3 years.
• Have AMMO-62 Technical Transportation of HAZMAT certification for shipping (preferred). If not previously certified, employees must be prepared to complete the AMMO-62 HAZMAT Course upon soonest available opening. This common service school cost and associated travel is at the expense of the contracted company. Recertification is completed online without cost associated. If employee does not pass online recertification, any costs incurred for travel to the AMMO-62 HAZMAT recert is paid for by the contracted company.
• Documentation of previous Ordnance Qualification/Certification Board Member.
• LOGSU-2 will certify or recertify up to Quality Assurance/Safety Officer (QA/SO).
• Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements.
• Maintain forklift license up to 6,000lb capacity.
• Must meet the requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles / CESE for use in their official duties.
