We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer supporting one of our premier programs, where your knowledge of requirements development, systems engineering analysis, interface definition, and verification and validation will be put to good use. You will collaborate with a highly skilled team of systems and software engineers delivering next-generation satellite ground system capabilities. The work is on-site in Richardson, TX
• Develop and maintain requirements, feature description documents, and user manuals
• Perform functional decomposition to meet system and domain-level requirements
• Participate in system engineering artifact development and technical reviews
• Conduct performance analyses, risk assessments, and trade studies
• Define and manage internal and external system interfaces
• Maintain engineering documentation in accordance with systems engineering and configuration management standards
• Provide requirements clarification to software development and test teams
• Support SEIT activities, including preparation for and execution of program reviews
• Complete assigned tasks to meet program schedule milestones
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, and provide status on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks
• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, functional analysis, interface definition, and verification and validation
• Experience supporting systems engineering activities on government contracts
• Experience working with requirements management tools such as DOORS or similar databases, Experience working in an Agile environment, including Agile systems engineering practices and cross-team collaboration
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance after your start date.
• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies
• Experience with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler)
• Scrum Master or Agile leadership experience
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
