Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is hiring a Administrative Assistant to support the Satellite Control Network Operations, Remote Site and Mission Partner Support (STORMS) contract at Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT). The Administrative Assistant executes actions necessary to to support the STROMS mission conduct satellite operations and maintenance required to sustain the operability of communications-electronics equipment located at the Remote Tracking Stations (RTS). Responsibilities
- Answering phones, taking messages, routing calls, and taking appropriate actions as necessary.
- Manage/update/add/subtract personnel and related information in a personnel database for Diego Garcia Tracking Station.
- Maintain and update appropriate logs, inventories, filing, and status reports/tracking.
- Training Monitor.
- Prepare documents under general guidance.
- Perform all records management functions.
- Distribute/route mail, packages and paperwork.
- Operation instruction coordinator.
- Order office supplies and other items as required.
- Coordinate and track various processes, including, in and out processing of personnel.
- Schedule meetings, catering and other reservations as required.
- Prepare and distribute itineraries and other pertinent information.
- Maintain one or more calendars.
- Generate standard reports in varying formats.
- Track incoming personnel as well as perform minor travel coordination duties.
- Additional duties as assigned to provide contract compliance.
- Escorting personnel in the restricted area as required.
Qualifications
- Possess a current DoD SECRET security clearance or the ability to obtain.
- High school diploma plus at least five years related experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
- Have good organizational and communication skills and be able to handle changing priorities in a team environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Air Force communication systems and the Air Force Satellite Control Network.
