DESCRIPTION:
Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer Level 2. The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems). Additionally, the Software Engineer will review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
Telework availability up to 16 hours per week.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Development experience with Java and Angular framework.
Build experience using GitLab and Docker.
Experience with Kubernetes or Marathon.
Knowledge of computer assisted translation tools (such as LILT) is desired.
Experience with language analyzers in ElasticSearch is desired.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Eighteen (18) years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
