Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
* Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, and technical specifications.
* Translate functional requirements into technical specs and collaborate with development teams.
* Apply knowledge of the software development life cycle.
Qualifications & Compensation:
* Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Years of experience: 6+ years
* Total Compensation: $135k+ yearly
Job Description:
* Create and write various types of user documents, including how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, or instructions.
* Explain scientific and technical ideas in simple language.
* Work with customers to translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
* Support engineering teams with documentation for system components and engineering artifacts.
* Provide overall leadership of technical writing tasks and serve as a primary liaison for contract coordination.
* Write and edit technical documentation for hardware and software, including installation and configuration guides.
* Apply strong writing and grammar skills to deliver accurate documentation under tight deadlines.
* Design and develop developer-oriented documentation in collaboration with developer teams.
* Utilize documentation tools to develop templates and create output in various mediums.
* Apply knowledge of SDLC, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and PWS terminology.
