• Allocate requirements to hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components
• Develop system architectures, operational concepts, scenario threads, and alternative design approaches
• Implement DoDAF views and SOA based solutions; conduct architecture trade studies using models and prototypes
• Define Information Assurance requirements (confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, access control)
Integration, Verification & Validation
• Provide technical direction for integration, interfacing, engineering, and testing activities
• Ensure thorough definition and coordination of system interfaces across multiple teams
• Develop verification and validation methods and criteria; support early V&V planning
• Participate in requirements, design, program, and test reviews
Configuration, Risk & Lifecycle Management

• Support DoD/Government Certification & Accreditation processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable agency, national, and international standards
• Capture and maintain interface designs in accessible repositories
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
• Provide senior technical leadership across engineering, integration, and development teams
• Work directly with Government stakeholders to resolve technical issues and shape system direction

• Communicate clearly with executives, managers, and technical personnel
Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (must already be held)
• IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, GSEC, CySA+, CCNA Security, or GICSP)
• Twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting complex programs
• Proven experience planning and leading large scale systems engineering efforts
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field
o Five (5) additional years of SE experience may substitute for the degree
• Strong knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS or equivalent) and scalable cloud solution design
• Experience engineering physical and virtual VDI and VPN infrastructures
• Proficiency with network topology design for secure, reliable, high performance environments
• Ability to evaluate mission needs and architect flexible, scalable technical solutions
