Job Description
Shadowgate Partners is seeking a Software Engineer (DSP) for our client, a leading provider of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and specialized communications systems to the Intelligence Community, with over 40 years of deep expertise across strategic and tactical missions.
This role is 100% onsite at the client's facility either in Fairfax, VA or Denver, CO.
Must be willing to obtain an Full Scope Polygraph while working.
Must be willing to travel OCONUS 2–3 times per year for 7–10 days per trip.
Position Overview
The Software Engineer will design and implement software systems with an emphasis on digital signal processing and secure web-based GUIs. Experience across all aspects of software design, implementation, testing, analysis, and debugging is expected.
Key Responsibilities
● Implement, deploy, and maintain cutting-edge signal processing systems
● Develop secure interfaces and web-based GUIs to control, status, and monitor signal processing systems
● Manage system software configurations and baselines
Required
● Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
● Strong Python development experience in a Linux environment
● Active TS/SCI clearance, with willingness to obtain an FS Poly while working
● Willingness to travel OCONUS 2–3 times per year for 7–10 days per trip
● 4-15 years of experience
Preferred
● Experience with JavaScript, XML, and MySQL
● Web application development using Python and frameworks such as Django and Flask
● Packaging and managing software applications with RPM and yum
● Knowledge of network protocols, encryption, and cybersecurity
● Experience in communications or SIGINT systems development and test
● IASAE Level II certification
● Knowledge of communications systems theory, with emphasis on analog/digital modulation and demodulation
● Knowledge of signal processing algorithms and techniques
● Experience with the X-Midas signal processing environment
Security Clearance
TS/SCI with the ability to obtain Full Scope polygraph after start.
Travel
OCONUS 2–3 times per year for 7–10 days per trip.
Salary Range
$105,000 - $170,000
