Job Description



  • Advises Division Chief and assumes leadership responsibilities as delegated and directed.
  • Advises CNMF leadership and personnel on offensive cyberspace operations in support of USCYBERCOM objectives and delivers risk assessment and mitigation on all technical/analytical activities involving CNMF operations.
  • Oversees and manages work through subordinate team leads and supervisors.
  • Conducts risk assessment and mitigation as it applies to tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) in the execution of all CNMF operations.
  • Establishes and enforces standards associated with operator development and certification.
  • Trains and certifies operators and assists in the advancement of operator proficiency on various platforms.
  • Serve as a principle lead for operational mission management and coordination with critical partners.





  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
  • Must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.
  • This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP). Employee must pass initial and periodic random drug testing.
  • May be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions. (Transcripts must be attached).

At least one-year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position 1) performing interactive cyberspace operations which includes; conducting risk assessments and developing related tactics, techniques, and procedures; 2) serving as a subject matter expert for cyberspace operations by leading the development of tradecraft and tools to address operational shortfalls; 3) maintaining training and certification standards for operator development; 4) overseeing personnel actions, such as hiring actions, performance management and awards, etc.
