Cyber Security Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a to support a company focused on providing enterprise IT and cybersecurity services to Department of Defense mission systems. This position is on-site in The will support cybersecurity compliance, RMF activities, and system authorization efforts for secure DoD environments. Join a mission-critical team directly supporting the modernization and security of systems that enable operational readiness across the defense community.

• Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and implement foundational cybersecurity requirements across assigned systems.
• Update, maintain, and validate security controls within Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to ensure compliance with RMF standards.
• Advance Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages through RMF Steps 2-4 by documenting, implementing, and assessing required security controls.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and accreditation renewal documentation.
• Support incident response activities including spillage response procedures, legal hold requirements, and trusted agent responsibilities for NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments.

• 7+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity, information assurance, or RMF compliance activities within a DoD environment.
• Experience with eMASS, RMF, ATO package development, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of security control implementation, policy development, documentation management, and incident response procedures.
• Security+ Certificaiton
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.

• Salary Range:** $90,000 - $115,000 depending on experience
