Raytheon is seeking an entry-level, individual contributor reporting to the Shipboard Missiles Business Operations Manager. This entry-level role provides a strong foundation in business operations, cross-functional coordination, and program support. The selected candidate will support the Shipboard Missiles' Executive Leadership team by assisting with preparation, coordination, and tracking of routine business activities.






  • Assist in organizing internal planning activities that support regular business cadence
  • Help document, prioritize, and track action items to closure
  • Support drafting, editing, and basic formatting of presentations and internal correspondence
  • Gather and consolidate data from across the organization (ex: simple financial updates, program summaries) and prepare it in clear, concise formats
  • Maintain dashboards and help update key performance indicator inputs
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to schedule meetings, track deliverables, and support communication flow
  • Assist in facilitating team collaboration and execution of recurring business processes
  • Support preparation activities for monthly business reviews and other routine corporate packages
  • Coordinate logistics for events, site visits, and team engagements



  • Raytheon and RTX Business Acumen
  • SBU & SSBU organizational structure, responsibilities amongst the programs and the functional areas, and deliverables



  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Prior experience and or general understanding with business operations as well as business financial concepts
  • Prior experience with common productivity tools (ex: PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams)



  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating projects or supporting teams (academic, internship, or early career)

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
