The Sea-Launched Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N) program is a critical Navy initiative designed to provide the United States with a "non-strategic regional presence" that deters adversaries. As the Flight Vehicle (FV) Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development of the SLCM-N flight vehicle. This includes the missile body, control systems, propulsion, and avionics sub-assemblies. This role carries full cost, schedule, and technical leadership responsibilities for a large, multidisciplinary team, ensuring the successful execution of all contracted tasking. Located onsite in Tucson, AZ, this position requires collaboration across multiple Raytheon locations to deliver on program objectives.
- Lead the FV IPT in establishing and maintaining a program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that supports program objectives.
- Utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodologies to track and manage the program's scope, cost, and schedule.
- Participate on the Phase 2 contract proposal team as the lead for FV task scope.
- Build a multi-layer team organization with delegated sub-IPTLs and/or Control Account Managers (CAMs) to ensure effective execution oversight.
- Serve as a key member of the SLCM-N senior program leadership team, contributing to leadership decision-making and strategic program direction.
- Proactively engage with the program Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) to ensure alignment on technical and program execution priorities.
- Build and maintain customer relationships within the Navy program office organization, serving as the primary customer contact for all FV IPT scope.
- Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and career growth guidance to team leads, fostering a culture of accountability and leadership development within the organization.
- Ensure Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development and sign-off for the FV work scope.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience leading an engineering team in one or more of the following: conducting trade studies, missile system development and design, missile systems requirements development and management, and/or missile system integration and test.
- Experience managing resources with multi-million-dollar annual budgets.
- Ability to achieve Raytheon PM Certification Level 4 within one year of hire.

- Experience in leading and executing the design and development of complex system architectures.
- Leadership experience on efforts where EVMS and Agile execution methodologies were used in tandem.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence stakeholders, including the Department of Defense (DoD), commercial customers, and non-traditional customer sets.
- Proven ability to develop effective internal and external customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and success.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
