As a Senior Third-Party Logistics Manager (3PL) at Raytheon's new Marana Logistics Center, you will lead a fast-paced logistics environment and collaborate with a 3PL Supplier to ensure Raytheon's factories are supplied with product they need, at the time they need it, and with the quality expectations they deserve. The candidate will have an opportunity to lead the team within a brand new 435,000 square foot facility. Innovation, lean principles, and dynamic thinking will be critical as we design processes and establish material flows. As the face of the logistics operations supporting critical Raytheon factory material needs, this position offers tremendous opportunity and visibility!


  • Responsible for the oversight of Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and maintaining Supplier accountability for Root Cause and Corrective Action when performance falls below expectations
  • Serve as the liaison between Raytheon factory personnel and 3PL Supplier. Assist in communicating needs, assigning priority, resolving concerns, and managing special factory projects
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar annual budget and monitor Supplier cost through weekly/monthly invoicing and project cost reviews.
  • Communicate with multiple Raytheon functions, including, but not limited to, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Finance, Operations, and Production Control to ensure the smooth operations of the 3PL Supplier.
  • Collaborate with similar Raytheon 3PL Supplier engagements across the country to develop and implement standard work, best practices, and operational excellence.
  • Lead a small team of Raytheon professionals and perform effective manager/leader duties, including, but not limited to: performance reviews, coaching/counselling, mentoring, promoting, hiring staff, etc.
  • Lead a culture of safety and drive safety initiatives throughout the operations, both within Raytheon and Supplier team.
  • Limited travel requirements with occasional visits to other Raytheon 3PL Supplier engagements



  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum seven (7) years' experience.
  • Experience working within a factory, warehouse, logistics, Supply Chain, Third-Party environment, or with a Third-Party supplier.
  • Supervisory or managerial experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.



  • Experience in SAP, or other Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Experience with Six Sigma, or other Process improvement methodologies
  • American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
