Job Description
The company. GPI performs Joint and Navy planning, provides expertise to Joint, Allied, and Fleet operational exercises and training, and provides new technical solutions such as Robotic Autonomous Systems (RAS). GPI prepares clients for the future operational environment, focusing on new technical solutions including unmanned systems, non-kinetic effects, space, and synthetic training.
The role: The individual assigned to this role will serve as RAS Joint Interface Control Officer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide JICO expertise in support of RAS operations.
- Provide expertise on RAS integration into Navy, Joint, and NATO forces.
- Serve as a staff officer and planner.
- Support planning the integration of U.S. and allied unmanned platforms into exercises and operations as directed.
- Support operations, experiment, and exercise planning in Navy, Joint, NATO, and other coalition environments.
- Conduct Navy planning and assigned efforts in support of fleet, task element, and unit efforts.
- Travel as directed to support of Navy, Joint, and NATO exercise programs.
- Prepare Flag level briefs, white papers, and other documentation.
Required training, experience, qualifications, and skills:
- JICO training and qualification.
- Work experience as a JICO at a COCOM or component level or similar.
- Secret Clearance and be eligible for TS//SCI clearance.
Desired training, experience, qualifications, and skills:
- BS/BA degree.
- Knowledge of naval operations.
- Experience with RAS.
