Job Description
The Logistics Specialist supports sustainment of F-16 Mission Tactics Trainer (MTT) systems across multiple sites, coordinating material movement, tracking assets, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to maintain system readiness.
The role operates in a government-contracted environment, requiring strict adherence to configuration control, documentation standards, and accountability for Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor-Acquired Property (CAP).
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Coordinate procurement, receipt, storage, inventory, and distribution of MTT system parts and equipment
• Manage asset tracking and accountability for GFE and CAP, including audits and discrepancy resolution
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments across multiple sites to meet maintenance, upgrade, and operational timelines
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues, delays, and discrepancies
• Support configuration control by ensuring materials align with approved baselines and all hardware changes are properly tracked
• Maintain accurate logistics, shipping, and inventory documentation in compliance with government and company standards
• Coordinate logistics support for site activities (installs, upgrades, and maintenance) and assist with system modifications and hardware refresh efforts
• Provide status updates to program management on material readiness, inventory status, and logistics risks
• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to standardized logistics and inventory management improvements
Compensation:
$40/hr to $43/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
