Job Description

LV8D Solutions supports national security space and intelligence customers delivering next-generation sensing and exploitation capabilities. The Outreach Engineer provides technical support, coaching and mentoring to Government Points of Contact (GPOCs) relative to ongoing capability development activities happening across diverse geographically located contractor facilities.

We are seeking an Outreach Engineer to directly support GPOCs overseeing Outreach Communication providing critical insight into the prime contractor's execution of Strategic Intelligence Community (IC) Communication. The role is also responsible for coordinating other scopes of work such as major program reviews, for example, SV Pre-Ship Review (PSR).

Key Responsibilities:
• Develops and maintain relationships with government customers, Mission partners, and intelligence community stakeholders to identify emerging mission needs and capability gaps
• Serves as a technical representative during customer engagements, working groups, mission planning activities, and acquisition reviews
• Translates operational intelligence requirements into system-level technical requirements, architectures, and engineering solutions
• Assesses how intelligence collection, processing, exploitation, analysis, dissemination, and feedback activities influence system requirements and acquisition decision
• Supports requirements development, capability road maps, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and mission engineering activities
• Provides mission-focused insight into acquisition planning, technology maturation, and system development efforts
• Collaborates with systems engineering, software development, and program management teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately represented and prioritized
• Supports proposal development, technical presentations, customer demonstrations, and strategic growth initiatives
• Analyzes evolving intelligence mission needs and recommend enhancements to current and future capabilities
• Facilitates communication between acquisition organizations, mission users, and engineering teams throughout the program lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:
• Active TS/SCI with CI or Full Scope Polygraph within the last two (2) years
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field and 9 years of experience; Master’s and 4 years of experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in large group education, classroom leadership and Systems Engineering for space programs
• Familiarity with Department of War (DoW)/Intelligence Community (IC) programs and Statement of Work (SOW) compliance
• Strong organizational and communication skills within high pressure environments
• Experience in reviewing installation/test procedures, monitoring execution, identifying risks, discrepancy resolution and on-site support

Preferred Qualifications:
• International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
• Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience
• Experience using systems engineering processes, methods, tools and program roles to develop, implement, and deploy solutions for Satellite Systems.
• Experience as an intelligence analyst with demonstrated skills in communicating with analytical communities
• Thorough understanding of space systems design, integration and test requirements and test execution, including test equipment support.

Security Requirements:
• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
• Active Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph

Work Environment:
• On-site work in a government or contractor facility
• Occasional travel (up to 10%)
