Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Full-Time, Onsite
Interim Secret clearance required for consideration. Current TS/SCI clearance required for the position.


Aegis Aerospace is seeking a to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center contract at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This position supports the Department of Defense navigation warfare mission by contributing to modeling, simulation, technical analysis, exercises, wargames, experiments, and operational assessments focused on positioning, navigation, and timing superiority.

  • Conduct modeling and simulation activities in support of technical analyses, exercises, wargames, experiments, and operational assessments
  • Develop technical findings and recommendations based on simulation results
  • Use RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models and visualize GPS-denied or degraded environments
  • Support live, virtual, and constructive training activities
  • Operate and maintain simulation models, system integration laboratories, facilities, and analysis tools
  • Provide instruction, supervision, and technical guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercise systems
  • Support evaluations of friendly and adversary NAVWAR capabilities, threats, and PNT impacts
  • Work independently with limited government oversight while contributing effectively within a joint government and contractor environment
  • Support operations, exercises, conferences, and other mission requirements that may involve shift work or travel

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have at a minimum, Interim Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI clearance for consideration
  • Bachelor's degree in modeling and simulation, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3-10 years of relevant modeling and simulation experience
  • Experience conducting technical modeling, simulation, analysis, or operational assessments
  • Experience with one or more modeling and simulation tools such as GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, Systems Tool Kit, or comparable platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Apprentice Certified Modeling and Simulation Professional certification or equivalent
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense exercises, wargames, experimentation, training, or operational analysis
  • Experience with RF propagation, antenna modeling, GPS interference, PNT systems, electronic warfare, or navigation warfare
