We are seeking experienced Model-Based Systems Engineers with strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining system models in Cameo Systems Modeler (Magic Systems of Systems Architect - MSOSA) using SysML.

This is not a requirements-management role. We need engineers who have real experience building and maintaining system architectures within the model, including:

• Developing SysML architecture and design artifacts in Cameo/MSOSA
• Constructing and maintaining system diagrams
• Defining and managing interfaces between systems and subsystems
• Working within the containment tree and model hierarchy
• Utilizing Cameo plugins and extensions
• Applying systems engineering principles within a model-based environment
• Supporting architecture development, integration, verification, and design reviews

Experience with DOORS is not required, though prior DOORS experience may indicate a solid foundation in traditional Systems Engineering practices.

• Develop and maintain system architectures using MBSE methodologies and SysML within Cameo/MSOSA
• Define functions, interfaces, behaviors, and allocations across multiple system domains
• Support or lead architecture decomposition and system design activities
• Partner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure system designs meet program objectives
• Capture systems engineering artifacts within the MBSE environment
• Support requirements decomposition, architecture development, trade studies, integration planning, verification and validation activities
• Participate in technical reviews and stakeholder engagements
• Help advance MBSE implementation as part of the broader digital engineering ecosystem

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related technical discipline
• 5+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a Master's degree
• Systems Engineering experience including:
  
  • Functional decomposition
  • Requirements development
  • System design
  • Verification and validation
  • System analysis
• Hands-on experience with:
  
  • SysML
  • Cameo Systems Modeler / MSOSA
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Active Secret Clearance
• U.S. Person status required for export compliance
• Must be based in the United States
• No dual citizenship due to program export control requirements

• Demonstrated experience developing system architectures for complex aerospace, defense, or autonomous systems using SysML and Cameo/MSOSA
• Experience leading system architecture efforts or serving as a Lead Systems Engineer
• Ability to communicate architectural decisions and trade studies to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with aircraft systems, mission systems, autonomy, or aerospace vehicle integration
• Understanding of specialty engineering disciplines including:
  • Reliability
  • Safety
  • Maintainability
  • Testability
  • Cybersecurity
  • Human Systems Integration
  • Certification and regulatory compliance
  • Product Assurance

• Remote position
• Active Secret Clearance required before start
• Travel: Up to 10% domestic and/or international as business needs dictate
• Long-term contract with strong intent to convert to full-time employment
• Candidates interested in relocating to St. Louis, MO either now or in the future are highly preferred, as successful performers may be hired directly by Boeing Phantom Works after the contract period.
