Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties
- Working with customers to help define and document business requirements for the ServiceNow platform.
- Working with development team members to modify existing and/or code new Custom Applications and Service Portal widgets.
- Coordinating with data owners to ensure appropriate controls are placed on data distribution and ACL (Access Control List) configurations.
- Responsible for creating dashboards and advanced analytics using Performance Analytics and ServiceNow Reporting tools.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for ServiceNow applications, including troubleshooting script includes, business rules, and client scripts.
- Responsible for application development using ServiceNow App Engine and Flow Designer.
- Responsible for supporting, updating, and securing existing ServiceNow instances and integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Design and create Service Portal pages and advanced Catalog Items.
- Implement automated workflows using Flow Designer to streamline administrative and IT processes.
- Design and develop advanced reporting capabilities using ServiceNow Spotlight and PA Indicators.
- Technical support in all facets of ServiceNow technology, from instance cloning and upgrades to working with database engineers on CMDB health and data repositories.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience (Vancouver/Washington DC releases preferred).
- 3+ years of ITSM/ITOM implementation experience (replacing SharePoint development).
- Experience evaluating existing business processes to recommend and implement appropriate ServiceNow-based solutions.
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a highly charged and fast-paced environment.
- Present deliverables/demos to audiences with a wide variety of technical knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with customer service and troubleshooting skills.
- Secret Clearance required.
